2. Types of data processed and purposes

2.1 Browsing data

The IT systems and software used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.

This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation. The data could also be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller in ensuring the security of the website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Retention: server access logs are kept by the hosting provider for no longer than 30 days, except for the obligation to retain for the purpose of detecting crimes.

2.2 Data voluntarily provided by the user

The website does not feature online contact forms. If you choose to contact us through the published contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email), the data you communicate (name, contact, any stay preferences) will be processed only to respond to your request.

Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Retention: for the time strictly necessary to respond to the request, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a subsequent rental relationship requires further processing.

3. Processing methods

Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect uses and unauthorised access.

4. Parties processing your data

In addition to the Controller, your data may be processed by the following parties as Data Processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR:

• House Service — agency in charge of booking management and communications with guests on behalf of the Controller.
• IONOS SE — website hosting provider (registered office: Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germania).
• Google Ireland Limited — provider of Google Maps (interactive map, with consent) and Google Fonts (loading of typographic fonts).

Your data is not communicated to any other parties and is not subject to dissemination.

5. Transfer of data outside the EU

The website is hosted on servers located in the European Union (Germany, IONOS SE). When you load the Google map with your consent, certain data (in particular the IP address) may be transferred to servers of Google Ireland Limited and, secondarily, to servers located in the United States, on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and/or under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023).

6. Your rights

Under Articles 15-22 of the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed and, if so, obtain a copy of it (Art. 15);
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data (Art. 16);
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data in the cases provided for (Art. 17);
• Restriction — request suspension of processing in the cases provided for (Art. 18);
• Portability — receive the data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (Art. 20);
• Objection — object to processing for legitimate reasons (Art. 21);
• Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal.

7. Complaint to the Supervisory Authority

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates current legislation.
